About Hana
Hana is a speaker and trauma-informed compassion focussed coach.
For over 15 years Hana has been a space holder as an award-winning storyteller, a 500+hour yoga and meditation practitioner, a facilitator inside Women’s Prisons, and as a speaker and lecturer at esteemed institutions like Goldsmiths College, UOL and 10 Downing Street. Though rich and varied, her work has always been anchored in a deep commitment: to help people understand themselves and each other, to illuminate shared humanity, and find thoughtful, emotionally resonant ways to meet the complexity of our increasingly mad world.
Hana’s work spans continents and genres, from Bangladesh to The Navajo Nation, she’s crafted audio and film documentaries at Naked Man festivals in Japan, with Cheerleading Grannies in Arizona, record- breaking Free Divers and Fisherman’s Wives in Southend. She’s evolved across genres leading a global investigation into brain injury in sport, curating live events and guerilla installations and creating the first podcast to feature on the cover of Gay Times.
Hana sights curiosity and compassion as the guiding principles that have helped her navigate grief and burnout, shape her storytelling and facilitation, and taught her what it means to be truly present. This led her to train in trauma-informed compassion focussed coaching with holistic psychotherapist Nikki Heyder at The Soul Institute in Bali and she now delivers 1:1 coaching, alongside group and corporate workshops to media professionals, creatives and changemakers.
As a speaker, Hana brings a rare blend of creativity, compassion, and lived experience to every room. Her authenticity and style helps teams, businesses, and individuals deepen self-awareness and strengthen connection. Her sessions are always emotionally intelligent and promote values-led culture where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to show up as their fullest selves.
After a career filled with an abundance of accolades, awards, real world change and one colossal burnout, Hana understands the courage it takes to step back, listen inward, and rebuild. And in an act of creative sublimation, she made a documentary about the whole thing called In Pieces which you can listen to here.
