About Eden
Eden is an education mental health practitioner that has spinal muscular atrophy type 3.
With a passion for helping others, she has worked closely with the SMA UK charity on a range of projects including podcasts, written pieces and book contributions.
Eden feels strongly about advocating and raising awareness of disability. Growing up as an ambulant wheelchair user she felt that she didn't fit in anywhere within the Disabled community or with her peers in mainstream schools.
When she went to university to study psychology her perspective changed as she started speaking openly about her disability and advocating for herself, whilst connecting with other Disabled people and sharing what living with a disability is like through Instagram.
Eden in a shopping centre, sat smiling in her wheelchair, wearing black jeans, a beige jumper and brown leather jacket with bright pink trainers and a black leather handbag on lap.
