About Oneikeh

Oneikeh Elizabeth Campbell is a South London–based screenwriter and director working across television, film, theatre, and brand storytelling. Her work is character-led, emotionally precise, and rooted in lived experience, often exploring identity, power, faith, and survival through intimate, human stories.

She currently writes for ITV’s flagship drama Emmerdale, contributing tightly structured, character-driven episodes across long-running story arcs. A graduate of the National Film and Television School, Oneikeh is the award-winning writer and director of Five Thousand Stars. The film has screened at multiple BAFTA-qualifying festivals, earning acclaim for its nuanced exploration of belonging, belief, and self-worth.

Alongside her screen work, Oneikeh has over fifteen years’ experience as an award-winning creative in advertising, working as a copywriter, art director, and director on global campaigns for platforms including Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, Dyson, and YourZooki. This background gives her a sharp instinct for audience, tone, and emotional clarity, skills she brings directly into her narrative filmmaking.

Her theatre work has been staged at Playhouse East, Lambeth Fringe, South London Theatre, and MMN Academy, where she continues to build a body of work grounded in working-class British life and complex, often overlooked voices. She is the founder of Done Louder Productions, a community-led platform that has supported over six hundred emerging writers and filmmakers through mentoring, feedback, and industry access.

Oneikeh is a mentor and coordinator for Soho Theatre’s Writers’ Lab and a judge for The Pitch Film Fund and TV Writers Awards, actively shaping pathways for new talent. She is also part of the We Are Parable x Channel 4 x Sony Pictures mentorship cohort, receiving guidance from senior executives while mentoring others in script development, production strategy, and career sustainability.

Across all mediums, Oneikeh’s work is driven by a commitment to storytelling that challenges convention, centres underrepresented voices, and speaks to audiences with honesty, humour, and emotional truth.
