About nina

Nina is a highly motivated, detail-oriented interior, furniture, exhibition and graphic designer with strong skills across a variety of industry-standard tools and software. She is deeply engaged in the nuances of interactive and experiential design across diverse spatial settings, shaping a style that thoughtfully blends narrative, ambiance, and programming. Her work prioritises historical context, client needs, environmental consciousness, and brand identity. Her rigorous research approach, collaborative experimentation, and open-minded creativity fuel distinctive, cross-disciplinary interior narratives, with a focus in disability-centred design.

Through her startup, Centred Studio, which was selected for UAL’s incubator programme, Greenhouse, Nina challenges barriers in exhibition spaces by designing universal, disability-centred exhibition furniture. Using wood as her primary material, she crafts soothing, tactile environments that mitigate overstimulation and foreground accessibility as a primary, not secondary, design consideration. Her mission is to align the spatial experiences of disabled and non-disabled individuals, ensuring accessibility means providing equally rich and enjoyable experiences for everyone.

Having personal experience with ADHD and relationships with wheelchair users, Nina brings a deeply empathetic and practical perspective to her designs. While her current focus is in exhibition spaces, she is equally passionate about residential, commercial, hospitality, corporate, and event environments, always striving to deliver cohesive brand experiences. Alongside her spatial design work, Nina is skilled in furniture making and producing high-quality digital renders, and she strongly believes in the power of co-creation to make spaces truly welcoming for all.

She has winged eyeliner, subtle makeup, and is wearing statement earrings shaped like small chains. She has a calm, confident expression and is dressed in a sleeveless top, revealing a floral tattoo on her shoulder. The background is plain and softly lit, keeping the focus on her face.
