About Roxanne

Roxanne Steel is a trainer, speaker, consultant and writer who brings clarity, care, and challenge to everything they do. With a background that spans business, advocacy and creative practice, Rox supports both individuals and organisations in removing barriers and rethinking assumptions to build cultures where people can succeed and belong.

They offer strategic consultancy, inclusive training and thought-provoking talks that connect everyday experiences with broader structural change. As the founder of Parallax Perspectives, Rox helps clients put inclusive values into practice, whether that means reviewing recruitment processes, enhancing communications or transforming team collaboration.

Prior to launching their own consultancy Rox has worked with several organisations during their time as D&A, including but not limited to TFL, The NHS, UN, Greenpeace, and Fujitsu. Rox’s approach is built on sector expertise and strengthened by their lived experience of overcoming disabling barriers across disability, class, gender and imposter syndrome.

They’ve been nominated as a National Diversity Awards role model and for Diversity Power 100 in 2025, in recognition of their work and influence.

Also a writer and creative collaborator, Rox uses language and storytelling to make complex ideas easier to engage with and to help people connect to the change they want to make.
