About Opal
Opal is, by definition, a multi-disciplinary creative.
As a brand and advertising creative, strategist, podcaster, writer, advocate and speaker, Opal brings this range of insights to her work across verticals and industries.
Opal’s work remains cohesive because of a belief that the force of the advertising, brand, and creative industries should be heavily focused on making the world a more fun, equitable, and generally lovely place to be. These beliefs, as well as her lived experience as a Neurodivergent, Disabled, Chronically ill, Bisexual woman, form the lenses that you see brought in complex totality to her work.
Brand work from Opal’s portfolio includes name brands like the UN’s WFP, Sainsbury’s and Lego, and a ton of start & scaleup brands big and small. Much of Opal’s advocacy work is through her role with SheSays though she’s also worked on pro bono work independently, creating campaigns like Open Justice For All, and The Unseen as well as through her creative agency roles. Opal openly shares much of her experience as one of few adland creatives who is Disabled and Out on Linkedin and her story has featured in campaigns for The Body Shop, covered by Stylist Magazine and in pieces for a variety of independent publishers.
