About Andie

Andie is a mature disabled model, blogger and disability advocate who is passionate about diversity and inclusion, especially in the fashion industry since there is still so much work to do in this field. Andie has experienced various health challenges since the age of 16 and has been writing a health blog since 2014 called ‘Life of a Fibro Warrior’. She is open and candid about sharing what she has been through, with the aim to support those in the same position.

Andie is a strong, compassionate, resilient woman and a deep empath.

She always wanted to model as a teenager but didn’t see a space for her considering the many health challenges. Despite her uncertainty she started modelling in her 50’s and as an ambulatory wheelchair user, living with Arthritis and Fibromyalgia and many other challenges, she believes she brings a lived experience to the forefront of her work blending diversity, courage and advocacy in everything she does.

Andie is sitting in her wheelchair laughing. She wears a gold jumper off the shoulder and white trousers. Her dark braids are tied back behind her head.
