About Sarah
Sarah has been a full time artist for 24 years and creates uplifting photorealistic oil paintings of colourful subjects, such as sweets and toys to evoke joy and nostalgia.
Graduating with a degree in Fine Art, Sarah is now a Patron of a school and an Ambassador for an art education charity who has also been featured on GCSE art exam papers and on curriculums, both in the UK and overseas.
In 2012 Sarah created an album cover for British band Kaiser Chiefs, and in 2021 was a guest judge on CBBC's Britain's Best Young Artist.
She talks opening about her bipolar disorder, which began in 2005 and has shaped her life. In 2023 she created a campaign called Samarivans to raise money for Samaritans, who she credits with saving her life more than once.
The campaign has raised over £48,500 with the addition of a book, after which she was awarded a Points of Light award from the then Prime Minister.
Sarah wants to use her experiences to help inspire and educate, and is currently writing a book. She’s also started a podcast and hopes to find more opportunities to share her story. You can find Sarah’s portfolio here.
